The Nutriceutical Bovine Colostrum Truncates The Increase In Gut Permeability Caused By Heavy Exercise In Athletes

この研究の注釈:

Supplementation of 20g colostrum daily for two weeks prior to a VO2 max training session, relative to placebo, failed to improve physical performance but was able to reduce the increase in intestinal permeability that occurs with high intensity exercise where body heat is elevated.

The increase in GLP-1 seen during exercise in placebo was attenuated with colostrum; other biomarkers (serum NPY, VIP, or ghrelin) were not affected.

Bovine Colostrum Supplementation’s Lack Of Effect On Immune Variables During Short-term Intense Exercise In Well-trained Athletes

この研究の注釈:

Supplementation of colostrum at 25g daily (two doses) with a high IgG content (65g/L) for ten days in which the last two days were a glycogen depletion trial followed by an endurance trial (90m at 50% Wmax) failed to alter performance during the glycogen depletion trial (anaerobic), failed to alter immune cell changes during exercise, immunoglobulins in serum, or any measured interleukin or cytokine relative to placebo (skim milk).

Bovine Colostrum Supplementation During Endurance Running Training Improves Recovery, But Not Performance

この研究の注釈:

Supplementation of colostrum for eight weeks (60g, containing 2mg/kg IGF-1) in otherwise healthy mildly active adult males with whey protein as placebo noted that colostrum failed to influence performance on a treadmill running test (approximately 30 minutes) or biochemical parameters in the blood. Plasma IGF-1 was not different between groups.
