Effects Of Bovine Colostrum Supplementation On Serum IGF-I, IgG, Hormone, And Saliva IgA During Training

この研究の注釈:

Supplementation of bovine colostrum (25mL or a 125mL beverage) conferring 49mg IgG and 8.5mcg IGF-1 (125mL group) in otherwise healthy adults for eight days failed to increase IGF-1 overall, but when comparing the levels of IGF-1 pretraining and posttraining it was noted that the colostrum groups had a larger increase in IGF-1 relative to placebo.

There was also a nonsignificant trend to increase IGF-1 over the eight days of the study when compared to placebo, but due to lower baseline IGF-1 in its groups there was a significant increase when comparing the levels of IGF-1 after the study to their own baseline values.

Power output as assessed by jumping was not altered in any group.
