PRL-8-53: Enhanced Learning And Subsequent Retention In Humans As A Result Of Low Oral Doses Of New Psychotropic Agent

この研究の注釈:

Supplementation of PRL-8-53 at 5mg 120-150 minutes before a word recollection test (a list of twelve monosyllabic words was given, with subjects asked to repeat it afterwards for acquisition testing and then after 24 and 96 hours for short term memory consolidation) noted that there was an improvement in overall memory formation that was more prominent in those scoring less than 6/12 on the test (correct order of correct words) reaching a 87.5-105% improvement and those over the age of 30 (108-152% increase) yet not those initially scoring over 8/12 (7.9-14%, only the highest value being statistically significant). Acquisition (under working memory in the HEM) was improved in the poor performers and the over 30 group, but not in the high performers or overall.

Motor control and reaction time were unaffected with 5mg PRL-8-53 after supplementation relative to placebo.
