ルテインはゼアキサンチンに似たカロテノイド構造であり、2つは卵黄やパプリカなどの多くの食品の成分です。ルテインは、酸化的ストレスを減少させると考えられている目に生物蓄積することがあります。

 

1. 源と構造

 

1.1 ソース

ルテインの食事源には次のものがあります:

ルテインはほうれん草で最も高く、卵の濃度は非常に変化しやすいように見えるが、卵の中では明らかに高く(ルテインの最も吸収された食品形態であることが知られている)

2. 薬理学

 

2.1 吸収

カロテノイド(β-カロチン、リコピン、ルテイン)は、脂質マトリックスと組み合わせるとよりよく吸収される傾向があり13 、植物源に結合すると吸収が低下する傾向があります( ビタミンKのような他の脂溶性植物栄養素に似ています)植物の熱処理によって幾分緩和されます。 1415これにより、卵はほうれん草よりルテインの良好な供給源である16とほうれん草は、サプリメント、混合食事で摂取された場合でも、前記栄養補助食品と同等であるように見えます。 17

2.2 血清

高齢者における5週間の1日1卵(ルテイン143μgおよびゼアキサンチン143μg)は定常血漿ルテイン(26%、約160nMから210nM)およびゼアキサンチン(38%、約40nMから58nM)を上昇させることが示されている19一方、毎日平均1.3卵のこの時期の周りには血漿ルテイン(28〜50%; 400〜420nM)およびゼアキサンチン(114〜142%;最大105〜116nM)を増加させると報告されているこれらの卵はより高いカロテノイド含有量を有​​したが、卵消費前の期間。 20卵の2~4日分の摂取量の増加(卵黄あたり243±24μgのルテインおよび230±31μgのゼアキサンチン)は、血清ルテイン16~24%(137~142nM~164-176nM)およびゼアキサンチン36~82%(33nM~45~60nM)。 21

富化した卵(1.9mgのルテイン)の消費は、ルテインの血漿中濃度を8週間後(240nM〜450nM)のベースラインに対して88%増加させることが示されています。 22

卵の消費量をみると、卵(卵黄)1日当たりの量では、血漿ルテインがベースラインレベルより約20〜30%増加するように見える。それはかなり安定した増加であるように思われるが、ゼアキサンチンはより用量依存的であるように思われる

ルテインの補給を見ると、10.23mgのルテインエステル(5.5mgのルテイン)および6mgのルテインが遊離形態で、単回投与(20〜29%)後に10日まで増加することが、血漿ルテイン濃度を時間依存的に増加させる補足(82%)、群間に有意差はなかった。 23しかし、両方のグループは、全てのルテイン用量が混合食事で撮影し、ほうれん草にも同様に行ったとしても卵製品(58%急性323%〜10日後)を介して、ルテイン6mgのを下回っ。 24

ルテインエステルは、エステルが検出されないので、血漿ルテイン自体を上昇させるようです。 25

ルテインのサプリメントは、血漿ルテインを増加させるようであり、血漿ルテインを増加させる程度は、ほうれん草に匹敵するが、卵よりも少ない

 

2.3 分布

血清中では、ルテインはトリグリセリドに富むリポタンパク質と会合するようです。 26ルテイン富化の程度は可変であり、6mgおよび1.8〜51.0nM / gタンパク質の補充後に0.6-16.8nM / gタンパク質(平均4.8-6.2nM / g)の範囲で測定される(平均11.1 +/- 5.2nM / g)を、より良好に吸収された卵を介して同じ用量で摂取させた。 27

この変化は、以前はルテインや他の食物カロテノイド282930で指摘されており、トリグリセリドが補正されても血清中のルテインの増加は依然として存在するが、ベースラインのトリグリセリドの変動が原因である可能性があります。 31トリグリセリドとのこの相関は、食事に高いトリグリセリド応答が高いカロテノイド露光で満たされたβカロチン、と以前指摘されている32及びカイロミクロン中のより高いトリグリセリド含有量が高いカロテノイド露光に会いました。 33

2.4 排除

ある研究では、休薬期間の13週間は、ベースラインレベルに循環ルテイン濃度を減少させるには不十分であったことを指摘している34成功と6ヶ月のウォッシュアウトを利用している等。 35これは、補給後の体内でのルテインの貯蔵を示唆しています。

介入として卵を使用する1つの研究では、ルテインおよびゼアキサンチンをベースラインレベルまで低下させるには4週間で十分であると指摘されたことから、コンセンサスではありません。 36

ルテインは体内に良好に保存されているようであり、補充を中止しても13週間後でさえベースラインよりも高いレベルにとどまることがある

 

3. 周辺器官システム

 

3.1 目
